New to the Akashic Records? Where to begin

Get to know the Akashic view: start from everyday questions, and keep the answers in your own hands.

On a sunlit windowsill, an open book whose pages are lifted gently by the breeze.

If you're meeting it for the first time, “the Akashic Records” may sound very unfamiliar. In the spiritual traditions it comes from, it's understood as a record that holds the soul's experiences; it is a spiritual belief and a way of exploring.

Start with your everyday life

You don't need a grand question. A recent hesitation, a relationship that keeps pulling you back and forth, or a tiredness you can't explain can all be a starting point.

Keep the answers in your own hands

You can reflect on the perspectives from a reading, or keep your doubts. You never have to accept any view wholesale, much less hand your life decisions to someone else. Take what you understand back into real life and see what helps.

Try writing one sentence

“If I could understand myself a little better, what I'd most like to see first is…” Stop there, and give yourself some time.
